While I’ve read about Filofax ring issues, I was never too worried about it as I had never had a problem with my Malden.
But I also can’t lie… I did notice the tiniest misalignment of the bottom set of rings a few months back. And then today, I had a credit card pocket snag for the first time. Boo.
I’m really hoping that if I’m careful, the rings won’t get any worse and I’ll still be in this binder for several years. This is the longest I’ve ever used a single planner- it’s been since May 6, 2011!

I'm afraid your Malden is too stuffed. Nowadays rings can't handle that! Maybe it's time to move on to a nice FC binder with larger rings…?

I was so sad when my purple Malden started having ring issues & since then decided to only buy from eBay or the Adspot page as it's put me off spending lots on a brand new one. I hope it doesn't get any worse!
