Wow. I first have to apologize for completely vanishing off the face of the planet this week! Not only have I been absent from blogging, but I’ve barely been on Facebook, Twitter, etc. So terrible of me. In my defense, it has been an especially CRAZY week, as I’ve been working one of my side jobs in addition to my full time job. Which pretty much means I have been spending about 16 hours of my day outside the apartment and on the go. I can’t wait until this weekend when I get to take a rest!
It also means that I’ve been taking the late trains home, which aren’t nearly as convenient as the rush hour trains. I’ve been on the 8:40 p.m. train the last two nights, which of course makes every stop, so I don’t get home until after 10 p.m. And, because we have a board meeting tonight, it looks like I’ll be on the 8:40 again. Hopefully tomorrow I can sneak out a few minutes early and catch an early rush train to make up for it… we’ll see.
On another note, I am getting married SIX MONTHS FROM TODAY!!! Sorry for the digital screaming there, but I’m a bit excited if you can’t tell. So, in exactly six months, instead of sitting in a bored board meeting like I will be tonight, I’ll be saying “I do,” eating cake, and dancing the night away. Sounds like a lot more fun, doesn’t it?
Speaking of the wedding, I think we’re in the clear to show the save-the-date pictures so I’ll work on getting that post done this weekend. While the finished product is pretty awesome (maybe I’m biased) I think that some of the shots we didn’t end up using are just as funny! So, stay tuned for some save-the-date laughs. I’m also waiting on my wedding shoes to arrive- they are supposed to be delivered Saturday. So, since I can’t share the dress with you all, get ready to see my wedding shoes in all their glory. I must say, I’m in love- and I’ve only seen them online!
I promise to get back to regular posting as soon as this insane week is over! Are any of you desperately waiting for the end of an insanely busy week? Please tell me I’m not alone!
