Being a grown up

You know life is too busy when you dye your Easter eggs the day after Easter! Yep, that’s what happened in our household this year. Bri and I spent some time last night making colorful creations since we had zero free time the week leading up to bunny day.

They may be a day late, but they were fun to make (and some are rather pretty!)

Now let’s just hope that we set off fireworks before the fifth of July and have our Christmas tree set up before Santa makes his annual appearance.

  1. I've never been excited over Easter eggs. I used to partake when I was a kid, but now, I have no interest. It's messy, I'm left with eggs I have to eat before they go bad, and mainly, it takes time away from all things Filofax. 😉

  2. I think it is a nostalgia thing for me. Not so much the act of dyeing eggs, but the memories it brings back. I was most surprised by how much Bri actually enjoyed himself- he wanted more eggs!

And I've even managed to make it Filofax related- just need to notate the day you are dyeing eggs, complete with Easter stickers!

  3. @ Whit- that's awesome! But hey, I am sure dye kits are on huge sales now… there's still time!

@ Kanalt- totally! Anything that can be tabbed should be!
