My Filofax hole punch came in the mail today!!! I know, from my headline you’d think I’d won the lottery or something. Fortunately for my bank account, I am satisfied with hole punches instead of lottery tickets.
Honestly, I was shocked to find the punch in my mailbox today. After all, I just ordered it as a late birthday present to myself on Thursday. I never expected it to get to me in one and a half business days, not to mention all the snow. Plus, this little guy was only $32- with free shipping!
I didn’t stay shocked for long. I tore open the packaging and was amazed by how, er, cute this thing is. I obviously knew it wouldn’t be a standard hole punch, but it is so tiny! It literally fits in the palm of my hand.
My new little punch was immediately put to work, as I had been planning its first task for days. I printed some to-do sheets from Philofaxy and got to cutting. Then came the punching. This little guy works wonders. He seemed to have a bit of trouble going through more than one sheet of paper, but to his credit I was using some heavy duty Minolta paper. I am sure it would be a different story with cheaper paper or newsprint. The punches were crisp and clean, and fit perfectly into my Domino.
I will definitely post more review-like material soon, hopefully with photos, but I want to use him for a while and see if he really stands up to the challenge. I was just so excited I had to share!
I have to say that I bought the FF punch at full price from their website and paid shipping. BUT it was worth every penny! I use it all the time. One of the best purchases I ever made. Looking forward to your pics!
I'm glad to know you use it so much- I had to really decide if it was something I'd really use or if it would be more of a novelty.
Now that I have it, I am constantly thinking of uses- I am sure that before long I won't know what I did without it!
Glad to know someone uses my templates!
Yep! I love these. The recipe pages are wonderful as well.
