We heard some (maybe) good news about the La Londe house today. Since Brian is in Florida for work, Anthony called me to say that the bank needed additional information from us. Turns out they want some sort of proof that we have the money for a down payment.
While a definite yes would have been nice, the fact that the bank wants down payment proof is reassuring. I e-mailed the proof over to Anthony today– the bank should have it in the morning!
It would be great to hear from the bank tomorrow, but I am pretty sure they won’t move that fast. We aren’t getting too excited, but this is more of a response than we have received on either of the other two offers.
Who knows? We could be homeowners soon!
